Match Report |
In the first half Bodmin were a bit off the pace and CSM were very determined to get a result following our previous fixture in the cup. Because of this CSM was very quick to the ball and put a lot of pressure on the defence and midfield meaning they were able to pick up 5 of their 6 goals in the first half, although this is not totally representative we did have quite a bit of possession and did manage to score a goal through a short corner in which Sam Baker was able to flick the ball past the keeper.
The second half Bodmin came out with a lot more intent and started to put more pressure on the CSM players resulting with us being able to score the first goal in the second half with a nice finish by Matt Holland. Eventually they did break us down again and managed to score from a short corner making the score 6-2.
M.O.M: Niall Parkinson for having a solid game in defence
D.O.D: John Key for attempting a pass at the top of our āDā which pea rolled to an opponent who managed to pick up the ball and score.
