After some umpiring confusion (thanks James Johnston for stepping in) and Robert Lees-Barton finally turning up, the first league game of the season got under way.
Having carelessly losing several players over the summer a new look Bodmin team took to the battle field. Unfortunately Bodmin faced a particularly strong Duchy team or as they will soon be known Bodmin C.
Duchy took an early lead and maintained their dominance throughout most of the game. As the game progressed Bodmin began to gel as a team and workout their new positions leading to the occasional foray into opposition territory.
