Payment:
As agreed by the committee, the membership fees for 2022/23 are outlined below. Membership fees for the season should be paid on the Club Buzz Portal and payment for match fees will be invoiced on a monthly basis. It is preferred that members set up a direct debit on their Club Buzz payment for these monthly payments.

GDPR:
In order to run Bodmin Hockey Club effectively, ensuring the enjoyment and safety of all members, some personal information will need to be collected and retained. This information will be entered by yourself on the secure Club Buzz system; Club Buzz have their own data protection policy. This information will not be shared with anyone else, without obtaining prior permission, except in the instances named below.
The following details will be securely shared with captains and coaches to ensure your on-pitch safety: name, DOB, medical record and emergency contact details.
There are times when your details will be shared with the opposition, leagues and competitions which we enter via completion of a team sheet. This may include your full name, playing statistics (ie. goals scored), or your disciplinary record.
We may share photos or videos of you as part of our activities, but you can tell us at any time not to do so. Where players are Under 18, permission will be sought before we do this. Similarly, we might want to include your details in a report to a newspaper.
In general, we consider the way we use your information to be as part of our “legitimate interests” in achieving what we were set up to do – to administer hockey. As such, we are not required to ask for your consent for the above unless we have said otherwise, but you can always get in contact if you don’t like what we are doing.
We collect personal details from you for different reasons and so we might keep it for different lengths of time but most of the time, we will keep your details for 5 years after you last get in touch with us / stop participating in the club. The exception to this is information we think is worth keeping for a historical record, for example a record of our Presidents and Vice Presidents, and historic committee members, photos of games, top goal scorer tables, and similar, which we may want to keep for a long time. You can tell us if you want to be removed from such archives.
It is important to make sure that the details we hold about you are accurate and up-to-date, so make sure you let us know if anything like your email address or phone number changes. This should be completed on Club Buzz.
DON’T FORGET though, if you have told us we can use your information in a certain way and you would like us to stop, you can tell us to stop at any time.
