-
Coaching was restructured to include 2 nights of coaching in the club
-

-

-

-

-
Discipline has improved across all four senior teams.
On the field all teams maintained their league positions, not a mean feat for the men’s section after a turbulent start and the first real season where we have seen a fluid selection policy working within in the club. The ladies 1s had an extremely strong season and looking at the league restructure, no doubt will have ambitions to do better in the coming season. All plaudits have already been heaped on the ladies twos for the incredible start to league life- mixing young talent with older experience was a recipe for a great season.
The outgoing captains were thanked.
The juniors had a great season as this section of the club continues to develtop. We were represented in each league, with the U12 girls finishing second. The colts and badgers section continues to grow and it really is exciting to see the players develop in to the senior section of the club. We have had girls who have become disengaged with most sports, thrive on the pitch having given hockey a go in their PE lessons at the school. At the other end of the scale, we have had out highest levels of representation at junior County level in the history of the club.
The coaches, umpires and outgoing committee were all thanked.
The following have been set as aims for next season:
-
More qualified coaching
-
Implementation of club strategies including selection and training
-
Improved league positions
-
Greater attraction to more players
-
Increased fundraising
-
Becoming more social
-

-

-

-
